Thursday is the day I go for my tubal ligation. Nerves are setting in.. my husband can’t take off…

I’m getting it after delivery so I feel the same way. I never had surgery before.

I tried but nurses never told doctor so when he finally was able to see me due to deliveries and such before I gave birth he said the insurance would be able to have enough notice so I had to schedule at my 6 week check up

Had this done for 7ys so glad I got a reversal to many pain and consequences it brings doctors don't mention

What questions do you have I gave birth to my son April 12th and the day after that I had my tubal ligation done and I’m so glad I don’t have to worry bout getting pregnant 🤰ever again ✅

@tina1992.e, how did they put you asleep? How long is the procedure? Am I going to be tired the rest of the day?

I can’t remember how I got to sleep but they said they were gonna give me a medicine that will make me feel good, I woke up and didn’t remember anything they did to me, the procedure takes about 1-3 hours and yes u will b tired for at least two days and it will take a week to heal mayb longer. I had to put my son in the nursery for a few hours because I was so out of it I couldn’t stay awake.

@xoxomamaof2xoxo, it’s not as bad as u think-it is i was really Nervous too. it will b over quick once they give u the medicine, but ur gonna b sore. I got mine burnt, I can never get pregnant again 🤰 and I don’t want to this labor was the most painful feeling I ever felt in my life 🙅🏻‍♀️

For me it was over in an hour and I was back to taking care of my daughter in two hours. I was almost completely back to normal in a week except for the incision still healing. And yes I know I'm preggo lol I had my tubes tied in Nov and was 3 weeks pregnant but didn't know it til a month after my surgery.

No but we were being really careful 😂 guess I was just meant to have one more.

@50.shades.of.tired, haha this is my fear. At my 6 week appointment they did a test I was negative and gave me the depo. I’ve never had the depo so I’m so scared I’m going to test positive after the fact

But they are doing a urine and blood test tomorrow so they should know

Yea I know the depo can take a few weeks to get into your system good depending on the person. And you have the bizarre occurrence where you're too early to come up positive like me lol. Hopefully you're not tho. I was in complete shock and denial when I found out.
