Romaine lettuce is back in the news after being linked to a nasty E. coli outbreak. The CDC is saying all forms of romaine, including whole heads, pre-made salad mixes, and hearts of romaine, should be thrown out.
E. coli is nasty on a good day, and a real pain in the buns (or worse) for those with compromised immune systems, so it would be wise to heed the warnings.
For the record, it's only been 102 days since the last time leafy greens attacked us. I'll let you draw your own conclusions. #donutsarelife #pizza4ever
