@bhtslove have you ever gotten like a bump in one boob that felt like a bruise? Ive tried pumping and letting him nurse it out but its still there and hurts. It just showed up over night. Its also not small.
@mommyof.3 Yes. It's probably a clogged milk duct. Mine took a couple days to resolve. Letting him nurse off that side, and pumping are good, like you mentioned. Also. Hot showers. And while in the shower massaging it. Hot or cold compresses. Etc.
@bhtslove I tried massaging right after him nursing and it squirted in his face and woke him up. Haha. I didnt realize my supply had gone up so much to clog a milk duct.
@mommyof.3 Has anything changed? Like in your guys schedule? Lots of things can block one! Like too tight of a nursing bra, baby eating less, not latching well, weaning abruptly, not a strong enough pump, not being emptied fully after a meal, stress, laying on your stomach.
I found it helped massaging then using a hot towel while pumping it took me a couple days to get it to fully go away and maybe offer that side first cause babies are better at emptying the boob good luck
