I didn't get any because people say babies normally come out wear 0-3 months but I had a small baby 5lb 11oz and had to go buy a bunch of new born stuff.
I got a lot just because I was given so many. Jais was super tiny so he didn’t fit them all right away. So, he actually got to wear most of them by the time he grew out of the newborn clothes
I got 3 before she was born just incase she was born big like my son I didn’t want to many but she was 7lbs 6oz so I went and bought 3 more and a few outfits she stayed in NB for a month
I'd say only get a few they do outgrow them fast it's better to get 0-3 months that's when they'll need them the most or I at least love to use them on them
I think I had maybe 6 though so might wanna get that many but not more they do stay in newborn for the first month then 0-3 months fir a couple months then at 3 months 3 months stuff then 3-6 months at 4-5 months and so on
Honestly all Jackson's clothes were given to him and he ended up with 20 sleepers in sz 0-3 months and don't get me started on how many onesies he had lol....let's just say still at 6 months we only do laundry once a month because he has THAT many clothes
I got like 5 because they swore he’d be big, and that he’d outgrow them quick but my son is long, not fat. So now he wears the same 5 ones over and over and over because the 0-3 are too big on him. Wish I had gotten more.

I’d say maybe 10? Just bc I know I do so much laundry bc they’re the only ones that fit him right now. Hell be a month next week.
