You can try putting her in a safe place (like her highchair) and leave the room till she stops

@mommiesaremagical14 I've tried the highchair but she flipped it. I tried putting her in her crib but she ended up throwing herself all kinds of ways and bumped her head! So now I'm just gonna try and put her in her room and lock the door. (we have a visual baby monitor. )

Pick her up and put her somewhere she’s alone but where she can’t hurt herself. Tell her when you understand she’s upset but big girls don’t behave like that and walk away. Once she’s done then you can go get her. Do you have a crib or something like that where you can put her?

@karensmommy that would have been my next suggestion. If she destroys the room she destroys the room. My dd never really threw tantrums but when she had her moments afterwards i always sat her down at talked to her about her behavior, why ot was wrong and whatvelse she can try next to avoid punishments. I know shes young and may not understand much but she will eventually.

Just read your comment. Yeah that sounds good, make sure there’s no toys in there so she understand it’s time to calm down. Don’t show that it bothers you. They do it to get a reaction out of you whether it be negative or positive!

@_sheriee I tried putting her in her crib and that pissed her off so she slung her body all kinds of ways and she has a nasty bruise on her head because of it!

Walk away and ignore her. Once she’s calmed down then have her pick up anything she threw or whatever

Personally me and my husband don't tolerate tantrums throwing things, screaming and throwing themselves all over the place.
We nipped that in the bud with our 3 yr old.
My kids are the type of kids that think if they can get away with it, they'll keep doing it and get worse. So with the 3yr old we used to have him stand in the corner or hold something(like a toy bat) above his head until he calmed down. It worked and he no longer throws fits.
With our 1yr old we put her in a chair and have her sit until she chills out. Or if she's causing self harm and getting out of hand we'll pop her hand and she stops immediately. It's been working and she isn't as bad.
