How did y'all start potty training? I just got her a potty seat. I have no clue what I'm doing…

I took my youngest to the store and she wanted a potty, so she picked one out. Then she didn’t use it for potty but for a stool lol. Then we ended up with a spongebob seat that you put on the toilet and she found that a lot of fun. Then from there out, it was done.

My method took like over a weekend and being consisted thru out the week. OfficiAlly potty trained by the next weekend. Kids were not in diapers all day expect the night. During the day I would put them in toilet every 15 minutes even if they didn't go pee or poo. I did this the whole weekend. Than by Monday my kids slowly started going by themselves but I will keep reminding her to go every 15 minutes. My kids started at different times 1st child 3 & half 2nd 3 years old & 3rd 2 years old she didn't want to be In diapers very early on
