I cleaned out the car yesterday so I got my sons carseat out also to clean it. My brother sees it laying back. He's like you need a sit up carseat to front face. I'm like his is a convertible carseat and it can front face. He's like well he needs to be. I had both my kids front facing by 2. Umm NO he doesn't need to be. I don't care what you did with YOUR kids. This is my kid, not yours so don't compare. I like my son being rear facing. So what if he's past 2 years old. It's safer. And I always want my baby to be safe with all the crazies out in the world.

After a while it becomes safer to front face. There is a limit to how long a child can be rear facing depending on weight and size and anything over the limit can be dangerous. You can get one of those carseats that adjust to size and it'll help prolong the length of time for rear facing but at some it still becomes unsafe, but like I said it depends on weight and size.
