nyone ever dealt with having to “postpone” the grieving process in order to focus on bettering your life? And if so has any family member(s) ever made you feel guilty for doing so..? Just when I think things are getting better 😔

It's really hard to push it off. I lost my SO of 8 years a few years ago in a car accident and I sometimes feel like I've not really gotten over the fact. It's way hard! I mean now years later I'm stronger and everyone respects me continuing my life with my fiance now but still it's a process. I hope whatever you're going through gets better! Grieving is never easy

@babydiehl2016, I know.. and trust me, I’ve had time to grieve.. ish... I don’t think I’m fully over it

I don't think you are postponing it, maybe you are trying to focus in something else to not deal with it. Maybe you are scared to grive, maybe you are still in the denial part.

Just hurts sometimes to think my entire emotional support isn’t here anymore

@breezy81516, I have my ups and downs definitely. But it’s been especially hard lately because my mom is just coming to grasp with it and feels I’m being insensitive. I guess I figure it’ll come full circle when I graduate (grandma was the only one that pushed me to get through school) but still, thinking someone is insensitive and not going through the same. Stuff. She is going through kinda hurt ya know?

@breezy81516, glad I’m not alone...
