It's definitely possible. With my son they did a membrane sweep on a Thursday, my mucous plug came out the next morning, was fine over the weekend then Tuesday evening I went into labor and had my son Wednesday morning.

@_mommy_17 it's possible that it's a sign after the mucus plug comes out it's different for everyone as far as when you'll go in labor.

@tyrellp okay it freaked me out they started my induction process Monday but the medicine they gave me didn't make me dilate so I was discharged. Maybe this is a sign that it's doing something

@cajunpeach89 thank you I was admitted to the hospital Monday they gave me pills to help soften my cervix . But sadly i was discharged because I couldn't dilate . So do you think now I could have possibly made progress ?

It's just your mucus plug don't worry it could be days before or weeks before labor can start. I had mine come out on Monday morning and I'm still waiting for my baby lol
