So I know parents raise their kids the way they see fit yada yada yada. But shouldn't their be limitations to how we talk to our kids and treat them?
I'm sitting in an office. Majority white.
This black family besides mine sitting here with their 1yr old daughter, teaching her how to BULLY, pinning her up against the wall yelling at her play punching her in the stomach and sides (not hard enough to hurt) but still the concept of the matter. cursing at her, calling her a N****, and slapping her in the face because she wouldn't listen to them.. Now this is a 1 year old. A F***** 1 YEAR OLD! boy I'm pissed and so embarrassed cause now all the white people looking at them disgustingly and now ME as if I'm over here doing what they are doing.

That's a shame, smh but you don't have to be embarrassed for anyone else's behavior and let them look all they want only thing that matters is if you bring your child up well

well one family doesn't mean all are the same if the other people in the office are logical people they should know this but wow that's so uncool I mean giving her problems and teaching her such bad things at any age specially that young is messed sometimes people don't deserve the gift of parenthood

@ironbutterfly yes I know, ppl were looking at me as if I was a part of that or that's how I act with my kids when clearly I was not treating my kids nowhere near to what they were. They just put me in that category because we're the same color.

@ironbutterfly exactly. I hate it so much. And it's okay I really wish parents could do better in what they teach their children, that baby was crying the whole time.. Now that little girl is probably going to grow up bullying and fighting people.
This is why my kids will know self defense.

@mommytok to identify the bias. & the fact that people of color is already prejudged. & the fact that because of the way the black ppl were acting towards their child. I was automatically in her category and assumed and enemy when there were only 2 black families amongst the 6 whites. Now all of those families were in their corner giving us nasty looks because of the behavior of the other black family. And because I'm the same race as her I was automatically in her category as all of the other families weren't. They all spoke to each other. But not once to us. Just mean looks and eye rolling.

@mommytok also why I said I was embarrassed because if one person in our race does something wrong the whole race is automatically wrong. I was given mean looks because the actions of someone else in my race.
