Thoughts on daycare?

It Sucks That It Costs So Much!!

I love the fact that kids get to interact with each other but the cost is outrageous! I’m a SAHM because it’s cheaper for me to stay home then it is to get a job unfortunately.

Same! I am a Stay at home Mommy as well. Only for 1 year and then I am going back to work. I worked 2 jobs through my whole entire pregnancy. I worked both jobs until I went into labor. I ended up saving a boat load of money so now I can take a whole year off with My Son and not have to spend an arm and a leg at Daycare.

But, if you have to go back to work, I would probably totally do Daycare.

My mother is against it since its so many cases of child abuse in daycare facilities smh so I'm kinda torn

She works 12 hr shifts unfortunately

I would check out multiple daycares in you area and ask a lot of questions. There are a lot of good daycares out there, you have to really go with your gut. Do the kids seem happy there? Is the place clean? Ask if they run background checks on the employees? I am home not til my little one goes to school but I loved my oldest son’s daycare! They were awesome.

As long as its one you like and feel comfortable then its good all my kids went they loved it
