What words did you kiddo say around 14 months old? I'm told my son is behind on talking 😕 he says mama, dada, here, yeah & hi.
They said the same thing about my daughter too, but here she is at 3 and talking no problem, today she told me "you need to get my bed done so I can sleep in my room, brother kept me up all night and now I'm tired " as an example. I can't remember what she was saying around 14 months.

My son doesn't say jack shit and he's 1y8m. I keep hearing how all kids are different. Some talk early, some will all a sudden speak sentences at 2 and 3. Geez 😰 just hoping I'm doing enough for him. Your son sounds on track to me! I think when they have siblings they do everything way sooner because they learn from them.

My 16 month old says bye hi mama dada baba bubba papa what’s that oh woah oh wow oh no dada oh no grandma sis sis. Boys can take longer to do those things than girls(I’ve heard and it’s been true so far) when I was younger at 18 months old I was talking in FULL CLEAR sentences, I would ask my mom “mommy? Are you okay?” Stuff like that and you could have a conversation with me. Now with my brothers they were just saying a few words at 18 months old. He’s definitely not behind he’ll learn when he learns now if he’s 5 and still not talking then that’s where you worry lol
