Babies usually grow to what mom can handle. I'm a firm believer in that .

That said though. Most babies font really put on the weight until their last month. So just try to go to as close as you can to 40 weeks. Other than that I don't think there's much what you can do some women just have smaller babies. My mom is like 80 pounds and 5'3 and a size 00. None of her kids were over ,6 pounds and we were perfectly healthy

Not necessarily.

My oldest was 8 lbs 3 oz at 41 weeks and had some jaundice.

My youngest was 7 lbs 9 oz at 38 weeks, no jaundice.

I'm pretty petite so they were considered "big" though.

I weighed 140 with my first and gained 35lbs and she was 8lbs 8oz then my second I weighed the same and gained about 15lbs and he weighed 8 flat! I'm wondering how big this girl will be lol
