At your 38 week appointment did your doctor offer you a membrane sweep or did you ask for it?? I have my appointment today and didn’t know if it’s a standard thing they ask about

I was never offered and I never asked though, a week after the appointment I had my baby. If they don't ask you, then if you want it you should ask and see what they say. Like most things there are pros and cons.

Nope, I wasn’t offered or asked. I honestly had no idea what that was for until after I gave birth 🙈😂 lol

no, they only do it if they want you to start labor soon. most places do it at 40+ weeks
