Breast is best, it's not an opinion, it's a fact. She wasn't dissing formula fed babies.

Ya'll are taking this way to seriously. Obviously it's best to have your baby fed. However breast milk is the best option for a baby. That my friend is a fact. She nor I was putting anyone down for giving their kid formula, nothing either of us said even insinuates that.

I can't stand judgey breastfeeding moms! Some women can't breast feed. I have a 2 month old nephew in the NICU who has to drink my breastmilk because my sister doesn't have a good supply. And when he runs out of my milk? He is on formula. Fed is best..

How is this judgey? She no where stated anything rude or mean to formula babies. Women are to dang sensitive

@mckallalynn.. I'm not judging. Obviously yes, babies should be fed, clearly. That is the number one priority. However, if possible breastmilk is the best option for your child. Idk why everyone is getting so bent out of shape about it. It's a fact that breastfeeding is best as opposed to formula. Idk how that makes anyone judgmental for stating a fact.

@bhtslove, right! My son was formula fed he had health issues and allergies we couldn’t figure out that made formula the option for him my daughter is EBF, but it is true breast milk is best biologically for babies. I’m not dissing formula moms I was one.

@badmomanonymous I formula fed my first. So I'm not implying anything. However I also feel that people expect moms that breastfeed to do so quietly, as not to upset those who can't, or to try and avoid hurting feelings. I also don't feel that's right.

@kaym Totally agree! My first daughter was formula fed. She had a lot of gastric issues. Made me feel bad and wonder if I had breastfed her if it would have been different, so our second is EBF.

I’m not offended by this. I understand how great breastmilk can be and I love the bond. However, I don’t agree with #breastisbest simply because that isn’t the case for everyone. Your son is 4 months and in the 95% but my son was 4 months and in the 2% and losing weight. Both of our babies were on breastmilk. Does #breastisbest still apply to me? No.

The reason why #fedisbest is thrown out there in response to #breastisbest is because only one of those can be applied to every single baby. That’s just my opinion on the matter.

@mommaofjais, same. My daughter wasn't gaining as much weight being fed breast milk and I exclusively pumped so I know she was getting enough. Now she's on formula and gaining weight perfectly. Fed was best in my situation too.

@mommabear1014, I tried pumping as well. On a good day, I produced 3 oz....for the whole day.

I was very sad when I realized my body had “failed me”. There’s so much pressure to exclusively breast feed that when you physically cannot do it, breastfeeding grief sets in.

And you start to envy the moms who have big, chunky babies who are 100% breastfed.

Y’all need to chill as I really don’t care what other people want to throw in because I breast feed my child I was speaking SOLELY ABOUT ME AND MY CHILD not you and your personal problems situations or issues because I don’t shame people for their choice because we are not all made the same.

@lovelyjane, and no where did I say that you were shaming anyone’s choice. Also, I am very chill. Like I said, I wasn’t offended by your hashtag. I was just saying that I do not agree.

Saying breastisbest is implying that any other form of feeding is inferior so it’s basically the same as saying bestisbestforeveryone.

If you had started with the hashtags you have now, I can bet no one would have commented at all about them.

Anyway, great job. I hope one day I can be as successful as you are in your breastfeeding journey.
