They are asking me if I want to try the balloon method to try to encourage Further dilation. Just…

I have never herd of that. I'm now curious to know what it is. This my 5th pregnancy to.

@autism.mommy, basically it’s a Catheter with a balloon attached to the end of it they inserted inside of your cervix and inflate the balloon to encourage dilation and therefore furthering labor along

@bebefever94, It sounds painful. Why not induce you or your trying not to be induced.

I had it. I was at 8cm 5 hours later. It gave me contractions but that’s kind of the point 🤷🏽‍♀️

@jessclee, hopefully that’s my outcome they just inserted it. Lots of pressure and back cramps off the bat
