Maddox is constipated again. He was trying to go and I think he tore himself a bit. There was some bright red blood on the hard piece of stool he passed. I gave him some Tylenol for the pain but do you think this is something I should take him to have looked at tonight? He seems very uncomfortable.

Just go to your family doctor. I wouldn't give tylenol for that. There is a new study showing adverse effects using painkillers unless it is used for fever

@tania.elbaba, yea I made an appointment. I really felt that I had to give him some because he was absolutely crying in pain. It was breaking my heart. And it seemed to help as he settles after about a half hour and was able to get some sleep. Good news is that this morning he was able to go normally and life is good again!

@coltonsmommy17, I tried to find child ones and couldn’t for the life of me find any. I even asked a pharmacist and he said not to give it to a child under 2. Where did you find child ones?

@maddoxsmama, i got the glycerin suppository from rexall and just used what i thought .. the ER nurse told me there was absolutely no harm in do that because there was a time i had to take him to the hospital bc he was to constipated but she said after 2 days just do use a little && prune juice.. if you feel the bottom of his belly and it feels hard hes constipated
