@amberspringer, no he got to go home with me a few days later we stayed an extra night with him because he had a little jaundice but that’s it I was in labor for 72 hours since they wanted to keep him in a long as possible but my water ended up breaking and couldn’t stop it he weighed 5lb with 15 ounces
@mariacardnz123, well that’s reassuring. My son may have to come early if the lake in the placenta makes him stop growing properly. I’m glad your baby was ready and healthy
@amberspringer, my OB is a specialist so she really helped me and prepped me for birth she knew he wasn’t going to make it full term so I had to get steroid 2 steroid shots before he was even burn to help develop his lungs . I hope everything goes well you can message me any time if you have any questions or just want to talk
@mariacardnz123, thank you. I go back on the 9th and if I need to, then they will send me to a specialist to see what they think. Then worst case, I will get growth scans often and take precautions and induce early
@amberspringer, no problem with my daughter I had growth scans every week up until I delivered so many things could have gone wrong with her and she’s healthy and happy
@amberspringer, with my first it was just pre term labor and with my daughter it was also preterm labor but at the growth scan they found a thickening on the back of her neck so we had to do two invasive procedures to make sure it wasn’t Down syndrome or any other type of disorder I had to go to three different specialties every week and was on makena shots from week 15 till 36 weeks I was told she was going to have heart problems and all these health issues but she beat the odds and came out healthy and big at 37.5 weeks she only has hip dysplasia but that’s common with babies
