Question ladies!!! Do or should the braids maids pay for their dresses hair and makeup as well as…

My bridesmaid paid for their own dress but I kept it cheap it was 35 dollars. Im paying for their and makeup and were planning by ear with the party. Its on Friday so depending on what all we do they may have to pay some. All in they'll have to pay maybe 50 bucks.

Usually they all pay for their own dress and chip in to cover for the bride's bachelorette party. Hair and makeup might be different

Maybe find what you like at a rental place and have a few options. Or there's tons of cheap places for bridesmaid dresses. You should all get hair and makeup together so it looks nice and uniform. Party everyone should chip in for bride, imo

@mommytotheo, see that’s reasonable!!! I feel like if I’m going to ask someone to be apart of my special day take time out of there day to look good at my wedding lol I wouldn’t want them to have to pay stupid amounts of money!

I think it's only right to pay for the dresses myself but because im such a cheap person, they would seriously cost no more then like $40 a dress. Also, if you want them in a specific dress then the bride should pay for it. The only fair enough reasons to have them pay for their own dress is if you tell them to wear what ever dress as long as it's in your specific color.... maybe you can even specify fabric material too but dont make them go out buying a dress they may not be able to afford... even $80 for a dress is too much for me (lol, yes i am dead cheap😆).

For the party... it should be hosted by your maid of honor and followed by the others. You shouldnt have to spend a single penny for this unless you decide to do a round of shot on you... or a special dessert on you... etc. If your maid of honor dont do one or let alone have plans for one then eummm she really shouldnt be your maid of honor.
