I’m getting kind of frustrated with my husband. I love him so much & I miss him a lot. But when we are together we don’t really talk. He’s always on his phone & when I want to talk he’ll tell me that we already know almost everything about each other & pretty much there’s nothing to talk about. I mean are we boring now? Like I just want to reconnect with him. I just want to talk about anything like we used to. It’s hard because I just remember he used to remember every detail about me in the beginning & we were so invested in each other. Now it’s like we are roommates like???? And he doesn’t see that. He’s always like “so what if we don’t have much to talk about? I love you.” And I know he loves me but I mean he’s distant. We don’t talk and when we go on dates (rarely) it’s like we are just hanging out. Ugh idk what to do. I’m out of ideas...

He shouldn't say that. I'm sure there are some things that he doesn't know at all. It doesn't mean you guys are boring. My boyfriend and I will randomly put something on TV neither of us have watch red d and we get super invested in it. It's a way to spend time and talk about it a lot. If there is something you both are into, just randomly bring up the items or movie or whatever and tell him you want to do that with him. If you're honest with him he should listen. You guys are a team and it's not just on you to keep you guys happy. It's not a 80>20 thing. You both give 100 percent. He should want to keep you happy. The best way is not to cookie cut it. Be brutally honest about how you feel. I had to do that with Ryder when he was snapping off at me because he was always so stressed from work. And I'm not one to confront. He cried. And he isn't one to cry lol. But seriously I've found that's the best way

I wish I knew. My hubs is pretty much addicted to his phone. He's never really present. If it's not the phone, it's the tv. All the flickering screens...he's like a moth. It makes me sad and I worry that he wasn't the one for me. I'm communicative and intellectual and he just seems like your average 21st century zombie.
