I waited on this table tonight; gave them the best service. Went above and beyond for them. They kept saying, “you’re the best!”...”thank you for the wonderful service!”...”we’ve eaten here before, but you are the best server we’ve ever had!!”.
And THEN they leave me $20.00 on $374.00!
That’s less than 6%. 😡😡😡
I have to tip out 5% to the bussers / food runner.
I seriously made $1.00 off of them! I wasted all of my time giving them amazing service when I could have just taken their order and dropped of their food. I could have taken other tables and focused all my time and energy on them instead of going over the top for these garbage people.
You better believe I will remember them next time and give them the bare minimum service they want to pay for.

Happened to me the other day! Not a bill as big but it was $5 on $52 and they had never been there before so I made sure to give them all of my attention and the lady literally told me she doesn't tip and you really have to earn it so she legit thought 5 on 50 was a good tip... I was so mad...

@lilaa_dunne16, noooooo! She SAID THAT!? I swear if someone said that to me, I’d legitimately have to physically force myself not to give a horrible look. It blows my mind that in this day and age, there are still a select few who don’t tip. 🤦🏼♀️

But tell me at the very beginning so I know not to go above and beyond.
