How would you feel if you came home and found that your mother in law was over at your house watching your kid and she has decided to clean your whole house ?

That would be weird for me like I’d thank her but also ask her not to do it again... but I’m weird about how my house is cleaned so it would just make me feel like everything was screwed up.

@kaym, exactly! I told my husband and he’s telling me not to tell her anything and that IM in the wrong for being so upset ! And this isn’t the first time this has happened. I feel like my husband goes against every rule that I have

I think it depends on her motives behind it. My mom will clean my house when she watches my kids just because she's my mom and wants to be nice and helpful and keep busy. My mil would probably have me coming home to a bigger mess.
