They don’t give you anything, your milk comes in and within a few days of not using it, it’ll dry up.

I had leaking about 4 days after he was born, and only leaked for two days before I was dry.

No they dont give anything. They used to give pills but those arent FDA approved anymore. I was told tight bra and to wrap myself with an ace bandage my milk was gone in 24 hours. I also barely had any so that may be why

You’re just supposed to wrap your boobs in cabbage. The tablets they’d give you back in the day to help dry you up are now linked to breast cancer

@lana2018, i breastfeed my daughter and it was not for us i had milk but no quality she was always hungry crying stomach hurt wouldnt take bottle or pacifier so this time around with a 2 year old i dont to go through same thing . Im sure they will explain u everything tomorrow when u see the babys pediatrician

@inkedsouthernbelle, oh I didn’t know it caused breast cancer. Im from Europe originally and my friend over there told me they were given a pill to take to stop breastmilk i wasnt sure if they did that here in the states

They don’t give you anything but weather it out the engorgement phase which hurts like a mofo!

@salogogo, constantly hungry, it’s called something in the second day of life... don’t remember but it was back to back feedings. My daughter didn’t like the bottle and paci either but my Lactation nurse kept encouraging and supportive she said it’s nipple confusion with a paci and a bottle but if I’d have to go back to work the baby will adapt
