Umm anyone potty train at 1.5? She kept smacking the toilet saying potty potty so I pulled out her potty chair and she peed in it I dumped it and rinsed it then she kept whining to sit again and peed in it again. Just kinda lost on where to go from here

Thats a great Sign. I would start asking her to use the potty and get her pull ups!

@liz41395 shes 1 1/2? Every child is different my oldest daughter was potty trained at 2..

My daughter just turned 1 in Jan . And time she turned 1 I started training . She’s sits on the potty with no problem she’s pees and poops after every feeding . We do a clap n dance after , if her diaper is full usually after naps she pulls at it and go to her potty and pats it to sit . And sometimes she’ll make the noise that we made up for when she has to poop and then I’ll sit her on the potty sometime she just be playing around and don’t have to use it but sometimes she does . I’m hoping by the end of the summer I can put her in undies at least during the day

Julie was almost fully potty trained at 2, but I can’t remember when we started working with her. If she’s showing interest, go for it! I will warn you, if you start now she may relapse a bit when baby brother is born. It’s fairly common for recently potty trained little ones to start having accidents when a baby is born and they see them with diapers. That’s what happened with J. It wasn’t her brother but a new baby was around and so she digressed a bit. But she did wind up being completely (even at night) potty trained by 2 1/2.
