I think I switched out my sons crib to a toddler bed way to early. He just won’t fall asleep in it.…

I had to start my son off by putting his toddler bed beside mine and sit with him reading him books until he fell asleep. Maybe try that?

Have you tried letting him fall asleep with you then putting him in bed ? Or does he wake up when you try? But like ↑ she said its normal just keep trying . Changes in what babies/toddlers are used to always causes some minor set backs .

The first 2 months of switching to toddler bed I had to have my son fall asleep in my bed next to me and then move him. I hated doing that bc it took 25min to an hour every night... now I let him watch his tablet with his sippy cup in his bed til he falls asleep. He stays in bed now. He knows he doesn’t have to go straight to sleep he can watch his shows but if I see him up out of bed he’s getting in trouble.

Nap time tho he will NOT go to sleep in it, just get up and play🤦‍♀️😫😡 so we do naps in my bed. Smh. But bedtime has gotten easier.

@heidi3581, yea he has a tv in his room so he’ll watch his shows until he falls asleep at night but sometimes that takes 2-3 hours 😩 and nap time 🙅🏽‍♀️ for get about it lol
