One of my friends have birth a couple days ago, I was just told the doctors had to dislocate the baby's shoulder because the baby's head was already out but the body was to big for her to continue pushing. I'm not a doctor, but that sounds unnecessary and painful. Anyone ever heard of such a thing. I would be pissed and would rather them cut me down there to make room. I'm in such disbelief and a little irritated after hearing that. That poor babygirl

They did it to save her life. Not hurt her intentionally. Once they come out... you can't just shove them back in. They has no choice. They saved her life. Yes, it sucks. But it's the harsh reality of child birth. It's not all happiness and smooth sailing.

I've definitely heard of it. That or a broken clavicle or something...childbirth is traumatizing and dangerous! Just imagine what it was like before all the medical interventions...so many women and children died. I know I would have.
