My husbands aunt baby sits while I work (hes a trucker). She literally doesnt listen to a thing i say about things not to do. She lets my almost 2 year old do anything she wants. She gives her dr enuf AFTER i told her not to because of the caffeine content. I told her not to get her hair cut and she did. She goes against anything I say. I try to be pleasant and brush some things off to avoid being "the bad guy" because anytime i say something she makes out like i am the bad one. Am i over reacting?

No you’re not overreacting I would be upset... my SO stepmom never listened to any of my rules when my son was born so she hasn’t been able to get him anymore and now when she does I supervise... you don’t follow my rules you can’t be trusted alone with my kid it’s that simple ... you have every right to be angry

It makes me so mad! Like why is it so hard to follow something so simple? Her hair and the dr enuf are the only 2 things i have complained about and she makes me out to be the worst person in the world.

@vannoy01, that’s how people are , they think they can do whatever they want like they are the ones who can have a say ... all my rules were was no kissing on the face and ask before you get him ... what does this lady do kiss him in the face and sneak in my room during the night to take baby like wtf no !

@blueezy23 i literally just read ur post about the suitcase. She seems insane! I dont blame you a bit! It amazes me how people think they can just do whatever with someone elses kid

@vannoy01, I know ... my MIL also was saying how she was gonna do this and that and I literally put a stop to it ... if they don’t follow my rules then they don’t see him idc who it is

@blueezy23 im to that point. She babysits when i go to work but ill get my mil to watch my kids if i have to because its ridiculous. If i was super obsessive about everything id get it, but im pretty simple so it isnt difficult

@vannoy01 no way i would flipped out about the haircut! About the soda I would be mad too if it was just a little bit once in awhile I'd brush it off. If she's not respecting what you ask I would not let her babysit anymore who knows what she's doing when you're not around.

@preciouslove she hands her the entire bottle. People literally drink it for energy. Thats it purpose. She even argued with me that it doesnt have caffeine and its the 7th ingredient on the bottle! She said "it doesnt have it but they have to put that on there"

O hell no then for sure I'd be mad. That's to much for a baby! I don't even let my 12 year old have energy drinks he thinks they're so cool but that's too much even for a teenager.

@preciouslove i think because she randomly buys us stuff that im gonna just let everything slide. But i dont care about people buying us stuff. Its great, but i dont rely on it. And she acts like i cant find anyone else to watch them and i already have a back up babysitter

She randomly buys us food and stuff like that but i never ask for it. I have tried to talk to him but he doesnt listen and acts like im over reacting.
