Why you gonna let your 1 year old run amuck everywhere with absolutely no control over him? This little dude was screaming and slamming doors at 11:30, almost midnight last night. My daughter would have known better by that age.
And for those who wanna jump down my throat, yes every child is different. But they quite literally never discipline or reprimand him. Like at all. MY child got in trouble for retaliating after her cousin was essentially attacking her and she finally fought back. I got on to her for pushing him, but the frustration and slight anger in her face when she was telling me how he wouldn’t stop hitting her, seriously broke my heart and pissed me off. If you teach them early on, they won’t be 1 1/2 going around beating up on people. Jesus Christ.

Seriously though. The other kid is one, your daughter is four. I don’t care what my kid does, a child four times my daughters age pushes her, I’m flipping out. 🤷🏼♀️

You just wait boys are freaking crazy now they should be disciplining him but if a four year old hit my son or pushed him I would flip. 🤷🏼♀️ both should have been disciplined

@latina.mama, exactly. I’m always the one telling him no when he’s hittin and pushin my daughter. I’m sick of it. I dread the thought of her playing with him.

@jhalsted1995, @ecahanes, also, he was smacking her and pushing her MULTIPLE times before she FINALLY retaliated. I heard her whining “stop!” For a couple minutes before I heard him crying. I was dealing with her brother and couldn’t quite get to her, but the sad part was, his parents weren’t doing shit but cleaning and could have easily gone in there to see what was going on.

I would discipline the kid in the wrong before my child to pushing a 1 year old. But overall not an easy situation for sure!

@latina.mama, yes they are. Their dads are brothers. We all live in the same house unfortunately. I have half a mind to just not let her go over there (to his room) unless me or her dad will be watching.

@ecahanes, I feel horrible cause I disciplined without asking. He was on the floor crying and my daughter was cowering in the corner cause she knew she did wrong. I asked if she pushed him and she started crying and said yes. That should have been my first clue cause it wasn’t the fake cry like she does to get sympathy. I asked her later and she said that he kept hitting her and every time she would walk away (like I taught her to do) he would follow her and end up hitting her again. Then he shoved her and she shoved back. She shouldn’t have done it but at the same time, no one was there to stop him and I WILL NOT raise her to not stand up for herself. I’m glad she didn’t immediately react, but it sucks she even had to.
