I am proud of my oldest son. He has a hard time reading and today he read 3 phonics books by himself. It might seem like a small accomplishment for some but it’s big for us. To top it off he read fifty of the two hundred words he is suppose to know already with out any problem but he is working hard on his reading skill. I’m one proud mom today.

My son struggles to read too and has since forever. He was diagnosed with dyslexia last year and it makes so much sense now. Just something to keep in mind.

@kkillgorefamily, I know my son is dyslexic. I am to I was diagnosed with it when I was in first grade. I kept tell his school and they finally listened so know he is in the 504 program
