Its up to you. My hair gets rly gross after 32 hours of not washing it so i have to. But everybody is different. Dont let anybody make you feel weird for considering doing it. People eat their own placenta. Lol so do you babe.

I’m Mexican and we have this tradition where we stay home for 6 weeks, we can’t do anything except care for our baby. My mom said to not wash my hair and then go outside right after. Maybe that’s what you’re thinking of? But you can wash your hair and shower and do all of that
