once your water breaks there’s a time limit before you have to have a c-section right? because of an infection? my friends water broke at 5am this morning, it’s 10pm now & her nurses are saying she could be in labor with her water broke for a couple of days.

Were only allowed to labor for 24 hours I think after water broke due to infection risk. But Google said you can go 7 days

@mommytotheo, whaaaaat. they had to keep me an extra day bc my water was broke for 19 hours and wanted to make sure i didn’t have an infection

@kartersmommyy I don't trust the whole 7 days that Google said. Im like 96% sure we are only allowed at my hospital to go 24 then we have to have an emergy c-section

At my hospital they’ll only allow 24 hours to pass.
