Have any of you ladies ever used nexplanon? If so,what do you think of it? Did it work did you like it

I have it and I love it. Its good. No side effects from it. I haven't had it long though

I had my first put in around Aug '14, at first I had light spotting for two or three weeks that I thought was never going to stop lol but that cleared up for me, its basically tricking your body into thinking its pregnant so you have some of the symptoms; weight gain, acne, etc I had a little weight gain but that was about it. I didnt have any periods after the spotting stopped all the way up until I had my second nexplanon put in around September of '17 and still, no period.

I like it, I haven't had any major issues with it either time.

I did and had to have it removed. I bled for 6 months straight I hated it

I had it for a little over a year and absolutely hated it. I got major blood clots and my arm stayed sore to this day from it. It grew into my arm and they spent over an hour digging it out.

I had it for 2.5 years before it wore off. I loved it. Only issues were every 4 months or so I'd get all the pregnancy symptoms at once. And I wasn't getting my period (on purpose) so it was scary. I did gain a bit of weight but also there was a lot of life stuff happening at the same time. When I got it removed I got pregnant not even 6 months later without trying. So it was definitely working. It's what I'll be getting once my son is here.
