Okay moms, my baby keeps rolling around in his playard even in his sleep. I watched him the other day and he rolled belly down 3 times. Each time I pulled him back on his back. I don’t want him to suffocate if I leave him alone & we all fall asleep. I’m so afraid of that. So we are trying to co-sleep with him. We have co-napped with him before, but only a few hours. Is there anything else I could try if co-sleeping doesn’t work out?

Once they learn to roll over, it’s safe for them to sleep on their stomachs. You can’t really prevent them from rolling over. Just make sure to keep his bed free of blankets and pillows or anything like that.

@mommaofjais, Well...he’s very picky about the playard. It has to be soft and fluffy I guess. I have a comforter I tuck in the best I can in the playard and he seems to like it. But I’m afraid if he rolls over & pulls the comforter (which he’s done before) that he will still suffocate...

I think they have soft mattresses that can be put in there
