I really wanna vent to some people who can understand.. I hate the way my kids paternal aunt treats her like a second class citizen. She awarded me the title of godmother over her son because she doesn’t want to pay for me to babysit him. She wants me to pick him up from daycare and take him almost everywhere with me.. I have the kid Monday-Friday. Mind you I go to school and work every single day. And she wants me to keep him, treat him and nurture him like he’s mine. And I do but everything I do she complains and tells me not to do it. So when I follow her request she asks me why I didn’t do something for him. I don’t ask her for anything when it comes to my daughter except that you get her on Fridays cause I have to work Fridays and Saturdays. Even trade right. Well no cause almost every single weekend she comes up with an excuse as to why she can’t get her. She just moved I get it so I brought my kid food and snacks to keep at her new place. I get it. But for her to tell me that she can’t get my daughter because her son is gonna be with her mom is bullshit because her son and my daughter share the same

In my opinion she's using you and that title for her own needs. Being a God mother doesn't mean you take care of the child, its meant for in emergency situations for example the parents die or lose custody. Although over the past years God parents have been more of like a second parent.
I would simply tell her how I feel and see what she has to say. If she can't compromise and do fifty (because face it a little help goes a long way) then stop whatever you're doing for her. Yes it will effect the kid but it will also teach her to appreciate the kindness of others

Well damn. I think you're doing a wonderful thing for her and you're sacrificing a lot for her baby. I also think she's taking advantage because she trusts you with her kid so she's seeing how far she can go with it. She's so childish. I'm not sure I would even want her watching my kid after feeding me constant bull when I ask her to return the favor. I'd accidentally change my number. "Oops" 🤷🏽♀️
