I guess it’s time to start getting the last minute items we need, Time is literally flying! We all have a strong feeling that she won’t go all the way until June 4th so I’m getting anxious trying to make sure that we’re prepared!
I say that to ask, what did you pack in your hospital bag? I’ll be packing for me, baby, and my SO, I’m not sure if my son will be staying at the hospital with us.
This go around I’m looking into preparing more for breastfeeding as far as pumping bras, nursing bras, and other supplies. So any suggestions that were of great use to you, please feel free to share 😊

I wish I would've brought my boppy pillow! It was hard using the pillows to get him into a comfortable position, bring 2-3 nursing bras Incase your milk comes in quick and soaks you lol, and nursing pads! The parents choice are really absorbent.

@mckallalynn.., yes, boppy pillow is a must! I think I had one with my son and it made it a whole lot easier. I need to get some more nursing bras, I’ve got some in my cart on amazon so I’ll be ordering them. I never used parents choice last time but I definitely was curious about the absorbency, so that’s good to know! They’re so much cheaper than other brands and my milk came in full force with my son so I’m expecting the same this go around 😅

@cheshire_mom4, have you gone into labor sooner with each child? I have heard that sometimes you tend to dilate and baby descends faster with the second, third, etc. Of course I’m not sure how true it is, since this is my 2nd! I went into labor with my son at exactly 40 weeks.

@babyjjsmommy I used Nuk and Nuby pads and I would soak them with one feed 🤦🏻 I don't even leak when we sleep all night. You can get 120 premium ones through parents choice for only $8.97 its such a good deal!

@mckallalynn.., that’s amazing! I don’t remember using the nuby/nuk pads much probably for that reason. I think I used a lot of lansinoh products last time.

I haven’t packed yet😭😩 but I’m just packing outfits for baby, paci, breast pads for leakage, & swaddle in the diaper bag. Gonna skip bringing diapers/wipes since they provide them. For me and SO 2 comfy outfits each, underwear/socks, toothpaste, deodorant, travel shampoo/conditioner for me.. not packing pads since they provide them. Hmm maybe some snacks for me lol. Our 1st hospital stay we way overpacked and had sooo much stuff to lug around so I’m trying to avoid that this time & be a little more minimal. My sons bag for his 3 day stay at my moms will be a whole nother story tho😩😣

All the lists I see online list SO much stuff it makes me feel like I’m going to forget something but I just remember not even using half the stuff I brought last time & it being extra crap to carry
