That’s so awesome. I need a surrogate and my friend is willing. I was wondering if u could help me with the insurance part. Did the intended parents get an ins policy on u? If so which company did they use?

@alicia929 Hey there...I went through an agency; I'm using my own insurance but they're either paying or reimbursing me for everything.

@jessjanet32, did u have to tell ur ins that it’s a surrogate pregnancy? I’m just wondering if that makes a difference. I called my ins company and they said that the surrogate just needs maternity coverage and at no point does the ins company ask whose baby is it. Somewhere in my research I thought I found something that said ins company’s have surrogate exclusions.

@alicia929 I don't think it makes much difference... when I looked into it months ago I had the maternity coverage the agency required so I was good to go.
