Can someone help?

The right side of my throat has been on and off swollen for almost 4 weeks and it's just getting worse. I have no idea what it is and tonight it's just so painful I could cry... It's visibly and severely swollen. Liquids aren't even able to get through the swelling (I can still breathe, the left side isn't swollen). I don't know what to do.. There's no soreness. It's just swelling and pain. Someone please give me some ideas on what this could be and what I should do about it..
