When Will My Father-in-Law Leave the Hospital?
So update. My father in law is still in the hospital and doesn't know when he will be out but he is expecting to leave within two days. The Dr's have been doing nonstop tests and blood work on him. He has fluid around his lungs and heart, heart failure and damage to his heart, damage to his arteries, damage to his kidneys and found out last night he has renal failure. My husband has been nonstop crying since yesterday morning. I hate seeing him like this. It breaks my heart and I know it will only get worse because he is thinking the worst right now no Matter what I say. 💔

Aw, I remember when my fad had his first stroke. The realisation that your parents could die is a huge wake up call!!
Just be there for him, but don’t forget to look after yourself too!! Stay hydrated and eat. Hospitals have a way of making us forget to look after ourselves.

Yes..hurts to see your loved ones in a hospital w all his issues..Just be a listening ear to your husband...NOW he should wake up and be grateful he has a healthy wife and healthy children and himself too...some people wake up and just complain and don't appreciate they got to wake up ¬ suffer in a hospital bed ❤

So sorry. That is a lot of bad news to receive at once. Do you know if they have him starting dialysis for his kidneys? Praying for your family. ❤️

@lulu85_18 he has no insurance to even get medical care unfortunetly. They are trying to push him out of the hospital as fast as they can because he can't pay.

None of that is easy to go thru. But my dad has went thru congestive heart failure and renal failure in 2008. He had a triple bypass in 2012 and changed his diet and his kidneys are a little better. Not good but not bad enough for dialysis yet. He’s on some medications but doing a lot better 10 years later.
