any tips on how to get a 4 year old to cover their cough? my bf’s son coughs all over everything, including my son and now i have the worst sore throat, i don’t even wanna eat or drink anything it hurts so bad. idk how to get him to remember to cover his cough

I didn't want to eat or drink because it hurt so bad and I ended up having strep! 🤪 @kartersmommyy remind him every time he doesn't cover and have him way his hands. I hope you feel better!

You need to be consistent with correcting him and making him wash his hands after. Literally every time he does it just say “ hey ss, we don’t want to spread germs to baby. Cover your mouth when you cough please”
“Like this...(give an example)”
And then take him to wash his hands.

@queenieeemeanieee, i think me just telling him hasn’t been working because i remind him every time. I think washing his hands every time will work a little bit better hopefully
