Is it okay to give babies cold breast milk? Or should I let it get room temp first? And please someone give me advice on how to get these lumps out of my boobs. I'm assuming it's milk but I've tried warm compress and massaging it but they're still there. Same spot on both boobs (the outer sides, next to my arms)

Yes it's ok. Stir it first though, since it separates when cold. Some babies just prefer it warm, that's all. And hand express! I hated that

You may need to start pumping, you’re probably producing a lot of milk. Also, when I got lumps I would put warm rags on my boobs then either breastfeed or pump.

@sunflowerfields I am pumping bc my nipples are flat so my baby is having a hard time latching but I still wanted her to have breast milk. I just had her and started producing colostrum 5 months ago. So I'm making a whole lot rn.

I have another grade of nipples than you which is inverted, I had the same problem. Because she barely breastfed the lumps got worse. You need a really good pump, hospital grade, it equivalent to a baby sucking the milk out. I hope this helps, soon you may get mastitis if you don’t relieve the pressure.
