Best breast feeding supplement? Going to Walmart in a little and want to get something that will help my supply. Baby is definitely getting enough milk from me, but I can never pump more than an ounce and that’s if I’m lucky. I need milk to stash away in the freezer for when I go to my classes throughout the week so baby can eat while I’m gone. I’m to the point I’m ready to buy formula for when I’m gone but I really don’t want to do that 😔

Stay hydrated, oatmeal is supposed to help. Target has a lot of options such as cookie, drinks and teas. Don’t stress to much- good luck!

@caylintay, thank you! I haven’t tried oatmeal yet, so maybe I’ll get some. Our local Walmart has all the cookies, drinks, and teas, I’m just not sure what to try or what works the best. Breastfeeding supplements are kinda pricy so I don’t want to waste my money on something that doesn’t work.

@emilymarie1357, I want to say everything works differently for people. I used the teas and the milk flow with fenugreek with blessed thistle. But my friend didn’t have any luck on it.

@damiensmommy1117, I’ve actually tried 2 pumps. The first one I tried is an electric pump, Motif brand, but it hurt sooooo bad when I used it. The suction is way too strong. I tried pushing through it, but I was still only getting an ounce. Then I picked up a cheap manual one. And I barely get an ounce with that. Maybe I should look into getting another one. How are the cookies for you? Do they work?
