So I did something stupid yesterday and it's just now hitting me I went to pick up my 8 year old at camp yesterday and I saw this lady with her son and I kept saying Awe he so little I didnt mean no harm by if but it made his mom upset she said stop saying that I don't know why it made her upset but I feel when I see her again I will apologize cause obviously I hurt her by saying that and it's never my attention to hurt anyone

Maybe he isn't growing the right way? As in height and weight and she took it as an insult instead of a complement. Anyways I would personally leave it alone. You may or may not upset her more by addressing the problem again.

@terresa.nash I understand that and it's ok trust me. I say "awe so little, or so tiny" all the time. It's just something you say when you see a cute little baby or child. I don't think what you said was offensive or anything

My cousin has a friend like that. She gets pissed when you comment how little her son is. He was premature but either way even if he wasn't he would still be little because how both his parents are. But she gets mad about it lol. I wouldn't even address it just leave well enough alone.
