He cried to eat and stayed asleep the entire time like dead to the world asleep and then my bf turned the light on and hes wide awake now really bummed its nicer when he sleeps more at night so hes more alert during the day :/ :/

He will just give it time. You can also try keeping up a little long during the day by playing with him
