I asked my husband who lived in Tennessee (I’ve always lived in California) and he says you are completely correct; you should automatically get sweet tea out there. It sucks to be here in California with all the health nuts because everything comes unsweetened. I like some tea with my sugar, damnit! Haha

When I first moved here from Arkansas and asked for tea, I got that unsweetened nasty ass leaf water and almost died 😂

Most people don’t assume everyone drinks sweet tea, I ALWAYS make sure to tell them SWEET tea or I’ll puke if I get unsweetened tea

@mommaofjais lol my husband has a army buddy that will come and work on my car Just so he can get some sweet tea(my car is to new for my husband to have patience with it and his hands are to big to really work on it).........i kinda pride my self on my sweet tea😊😁

Yes you are totally right! I used to work in a coffee shop and people would ask for an ice tea so is here in Texas automatically give sweet tea unless asked for unsweetened.

Technically, in the South we are known to love our “sweet” tea, but I work in a restaurant & I always ask “sweet or unsweet.” A lot of folks these days are in the unsweetened was kick. And a lot of places make their sweet tea so sweet you walk away with diabetes, I call it diabete tea. My tea is sweet, not put in into a diabetic coma sweet though.
