Ok so Charlie has a bad cold.... his nose is so blocked and his sinuses too!
I've been using snufflebabe rub... Calpol plug in... a humidifier.. Calpol... sleeping him on am angle!
But tonight during his bottle he just couldn't breathe... kept sucking then coming away gasping for air... like he was choking!!!
Is this normal coz his nose is blocked?
And any tips on how else I can help him??

Do you have any olbas oil? Or the Calpol nasal drops? The olbas oil I put it in a bucket with hot water and let it steam the room. Also try snuffle babe rub on his feet and cover with socks I find that helps loads x

@mum2sky I've done the snufflebabe under socks.. I've added a little bit of olbas oil to the humidifier.. but its not the baby one!!?
Is it normal to struggle so much with a blocked nose like that? Xxx

Yea hun it is normal when jens gets a cold he use to be just like Charlie, i scrapped snufflebabe and put vix on his clothes on his shoulder areas. X

@laurabump27 I use the normal one. Skyla doesn't struggle that much with a blocked nose. She's never gasping for air. Maybe take him to the gp just to be sure hun he might have a sinus infection? X

@mum2sky yeah he was like swallowing then gasping.. I think its just so so blocked up :( im gonna see how he is in the morning and book an appointment xx

@danpabs5 awww was it dead bad? This is the worst cold hes had at night he can hardly breathe and can't breathe atal with a dummy in!
How long is it meant to last :( xxx

It's awful isn't it seeing them poorly.
I've been giving him warm baths but not been out in two days coz it was so bad.
Which nasal drops is it xx

@laurabump27 yea hun becuz hes was so blocked up and him drinking he cudnt breath at the same time so he did gasp for air once he stopped drinking for a sec. I hope he gets better soon hun xx
