Can I get everyone’s opinion? I’ve been seriously considering changing my daughter’s name. From the day i found out she was a girl, it was down to two names and I could never decide. Either way, I’ll call her Penelope, but legally I wanted to make sure I make the right choice.
Billie Penelope Dismuke

Penelope Mia Dismuke
My father’s name is Billy and I really want to pass it down to my first child. He has congestive heart failure and we just don’t know how much longer we will have with him. He had six girls of his own and was never able to pass down his name. He doesn’t even have any grandsons. 🤦🏻♀️ Penelope is actually the only grandchild he will have with his own last name.
(Mia is my younger sisters name and we are very close)

I mean, I personally don’t mind longer names. I just didn’t know if that was something you wanted to do. I thought I would suggest it though in case you hadn’t thought of it. I like all of the names together.
