My mom keeps wanting to take my son to see my ex best friend. She really stabbed me in the back the night of my wedding and is super fake. She promised me one thing and did the exact opposite and I found out about it the next morning. My mom keeps asking if she can bring him to her because she really wants to see him and I keep telling her no. I don't need her being fake with my son acting like she loves him and all that when she was never there and never spent time with him this whole time. Am I wrong?

No you aren’t in the wrong. You have the tight to choose who your son sees and doesn’t see. Your mom does not have the right to do that. I would be very upset

@italianarosemarie because my mom falls for her little sob stories and feels bad for her plus we were friends since we were little so my mom feels like another mom to her. Like I said she was never there for me or him his whole life but trys to go over the top and act like she's so in love with him

@meg.g she luckily hasn't done it she asked but its the fact she keeps asking. I guess my mom was in the backyard with him and she ran over to see him and my son wouldn't let her touch him. Like I'm so mad that she(ex best friend) thinks she can sneak over her to hold and see my son behind my back. I'm so bitter about it but at least my son knew better than to let her touch him.

No definitely never question your instincts there for a reason!! My mum would be the same LOL! They just see them us our closet friends so assume we’ll make up. LOL! But listen to tour instincts.
