This one is a doozie:

My mother proved to be exactly the same toxic person as she was as I was growing up. Still lies even though I have all the physical proof that she is. Still manipulative! Still just everything I refuse to be or allow around my son. We all have a past & some are a little darker than other, but all the same in the aspect of hurting you. As a child she was..... absent frequently, even at times when she was physically there. There was a incident when she first came to stay at our house, we handled it. & along came more trouble & unnecessary baggage to where she became a full time job just so I’m positive my son is safe!

I have worked really hard to get my life where it is & when she came I wanted to believe we could be a family, but as always she jeopardizes it all. So when it started feeling like I’m being back into a corner trying to make sure my 47 yr old mother doesn’t become the person she once was, I push back & hashed it out with her as adults (didn’t work). The situation needed to be addressed & stopped. Am I wrong for giving her a ultimatum; that if she walked away from (situation unresolved) me, she needed to leave my house & do not come back? She’s my mother! But I will protect my son even if from her! She didn’t like hearing that btw. She is a petty person & I’m terrified of what she might do out of spite or anger.

Idk where she is now, & I’m sleepless worried about her & if she is okay. I do love her she is my mom, but my heart hurts so much.
