Question: Is anyone familiar with the term Induced Hypertension? In a baby app that i use to monitor my baby's growth, it says that blurry visions and headachs can be signs of Induced Hypertension. Before i Google it and scare myself to death is anyone able to give me a more "humanly" answer? Lol. I'm asking because since my pregnancy i've been getting really blurry visions and serious migraines.

It's high blood pressure that can lead to preeclampsia. You need to talk to your doctor.

I had hypertension while I was pregnant. Ended up getting induced at 37 w 4 d. Definitely talk to your dr. The earlier they know about these symptoms the better they can help you.

I would make sure you bring this up. If you don't have an apt for a few weeks, call and let them know. You dont mess around with high blood pressure! I was induced at 37 weeks after being hospitalized for 3.

@halifax6 @db413 @schuldiesa Omg... ok. Thanks ladies! 😔😣😯. I'm currently switching hospitals too... and waiting to get in, URGH! My vision has gotten really bad and i would get migraines but thought it was all just part of being pregnant. Thanks alot ladies.

@bbyzvcy18 I would go to a pharmacy and take your BP. If it's over 140\90 then I'd call an old Dr or new, because it's a big deal. Not trying to scare you or anything. :] you can be put on meds to regulate it. It's just important it gets addressed sooner rather than later.

@bbyzvcy18, if you continue to have this be prepared early for the hospital. I went to my 37 week appt and he told me to go home and pack and go to the hospital. I was no where near ready. Most drs feel comfortable and ok with being induced by your 37th week for medical reasons.
