So a few months ago I posted about Angelina having a dry scalp and I used coconut oil like many recommended but now her hair is always so dry in certain spots. Like the back of her head would get matted if I didn’t brush it 24/7. Currently using L’Oreal kids. Any recommendations or advice?

It’s going to sound a little crazy but use regular conditioner. Not to much just a pea sized amount (depending on how much hair she has) and be careful not to get it in her eyes I use Aussie moist and my little girls scalp was fine after the 2nd bath

My pediatrician actually told me that most people would use coconut oil for a dry scalp but it actually clogs their pores and makes them even worse. They said to use head and shoulders to help with the dryness and condition the ends. I hope that helps!

Amazon has a baby shampoo with tea tree in it. Worked wonders for my LO

I second the pea sized bit of conditioner . I’m a curly girl with dry hair and when I’m stranded without products it works fabulously ! Tea tree is actually drying . It’s in many acne products and oily hair products because it dries up oil and can be used to dry up cysts . Head and shoulders is for dandruff which is technically caused by a yeasty fungus , so considering that worked and someone else is saying that tea tree ( which has antimocrobial and antifungal properties worked ) there may be something connected there? No idea. Maybe try treating the scalp with one of the above mentioned methods and the ends with something more moisturizing .

I might need to get her at T9 prescription from your Peds doctor. It’s helps with dry scalp , dAndrough , it’s medicated only they can prescribe it 🤷♀️
